They put lipstick on a pig with this place. Hard to find, tucked behind the Motel 6, but it's also the Motel 6 only it's the Clarion Hotel when you book online. Supposed to have breakfast available, not notice it was unavailable due to the area being filled with new TVs for the rooms. I couldn't even get a cup of coffee. The ice machine is downstairs, how are disabled people supposed to get ice or a bag of chips, not to mention they were disgusting with mold and mildew every where. Let's get into the room... Rust in the bathroom where they painted latex paint over oil so it's now peeling off in sheets because moisture gets behind it and causes major problems. There was some kind of brown sticky stuff on the comforter. When we asked for a replacement we were given a new set of sheets. The front desk guy, although nice enough he was "not about to try to figure out what language the housekeeper was speaking," and was little help in this regard. Why do they put 3 pillows on a king size bed? Do they want couples at odds? No water in the pool when I started in July. Stay if you want, but if you want a good room, with good service, this is not the place. This is an okay place, more suited for traditional and end of life living.

We were surprised 😮 at how nice the room was, the owner sounded scary 😳 but he really was a very nice person!!

The appearance of the room was far below standard for basic human hygiene, and overall quality; there was hair on the beds so the sheets have not been changed, dirty cups, used toilet paper, a broken bathroom door lock, and broken smoke alarm hanging out of the wall. This hotel is extremely disappointing and lacking in cleanliness and any health standards. Also, the WIFI is practically nonexistent, the signal is absolutely terrible. I will not be returning.

Day one: The room was disgusting!! The hair dryer had not been cleaned in quite some time and did not work. The couple next door fought until well past 1:00 am and their baby screamed and cried right along with them. The main outlet between the beds did not work. The other outlet didn’t have a cover on it. The towels were stained - badly. I asked for new ones and the new ones had stains. The TV had finger prints and smudges all over it. The walls were chipping paint. I have NOTHING nice to say. Second day: Breakfast was a muffin and a juice in a bag. I understand it wasn’t continental because of COVID. No big deal. We asked to be moved and the front desk staff kindly obliged and apologized for the fighting couple and their screaming/crying baby. One of the pillow cases had a stain. I put the pillow, which also had stains, and case - separated - outside the door. When we returned from our event, the pillow was put in the corner inside the door and the pillowcase had been thrown to the end of the bed on the floor. The duvets have dirt - I think it’s dirt- on them. The doors on several of the rooms on our floor are bowed and paint is chipping off of them; the entire door. The hair dryer at least works but it is so caked with dirt/something that I don’t want to touch it. We haven’t gone to sleep yet but hopefully we will have an uneventful nights sleep tonight. The area is not one I would leave an enemy in for an extended period of time. On the way out the door, two hookers stopped us and requested cigarettes. We don’t smoke so that was the end of our interaction, mercifully. If all of that hasn’t scared you away, then I will suggest getting take-out at China Capital down the road. It truly has been the highlight of this trip. Again, I have absolutely NOTHING nice to say. If we survive the evening, I will never return.
