Look forward to this monthly adventure! So many things to see and a great excuse for me to drive into the city. Prices are fair but the staff is amazing.

This is the place to find a special decorative object or little something-something. Get on their mailing list for notifications, then make your way downtown on the first Thursday-Sunday of the month. Definitely worth the visit.

I've been going to Urban since they opened on Main Street. The new location is really awesome! Many different levels and rooms. The staff is phenomenal and pricing is spot on. To me this is becoming a KC institution! Keep up the great work Urban Mining! If I could I would give it 10 stars!🤩🌈🌏🏳️🌈👍💯

Was very excited about visiting this store during a First Friday in KC as soon as I moved here. The website made it look very classy and full of hidden gems. Upon arriving, the location and external vibe of the place was just as advertised. Unfortunately, that's the end of the good news. The place was full of JUNK. I don't mean the kind of junk that could be someone else's treasure. I was not impressed by the selection at all. The place next door is much better, but it wasn't exactly great either. I felt like I loaded up my family and went downtown for nothing.

Signs were posted stating masks are required. There were a few customers shopping without them. Hand sanitizer was available at multiple places in the building. The checkout counter did have a plexiglass partition.
Thanks for your question. Urban Mining is a first Friday vintage market, only open four days over one weekend each month, on First Friday weekend. We will be open Dec 3-6. Our hours for each day are on our website.
They are essentially a lot of separate sellers in one space. It's possible someone might be interested.
This is a collection of booths from many different dealers, not a vintage hardware store. You would either need to go in and browse, (after knowing your lock spacing information) or try someone like Van Dyke's Restorers, which has an extensive catalog. You can find them online.
Yes, but check out the address. They moved to a new location.
They are only open the weekend of first fridays. Thursday - Sunday on those weekends. 5-9 Thursday, 9-9 Friday, 9-6 Saturday, and 12-5 Sunday
