The premier spot for Niners games in OB! Sabrina is the best owner in town! Great vibes in here always, awesome patio area with plenty of space and TVs around the 2 pool tables and bar. Great food and atmosphere! You can't go wrong!!! A+ highly recommended!!!

This has to be the worst "Dive bar" I've ever attended. The guy at the front with the short spikey hair and the food was the only saving grace to this place. The place wreaked of cigarettes and stale beer and was sticky everywhere. The Bartender with the paper clips on his hat was the rudest person I've ever encountered in the 10 times I've visited San Diego. He held his head and eyes with disgust everytime i was trying to tell him my order and got mad That we wanted to order three peoples food. Gave my wife an attitude about asking what types of wine they had and exclaimed that they only have "dive bar wine because that's where you are,a dive bar!". If you don't want to work or are to hung over to work stay home guy. one terrible apple has made it where my wife myself and two friends will never return to this place. mind you we spent $77 and would have happily continued to spend more if not treated like garabage. good riddance Northside tavern!

This place has the best atmosphere, I believe, in North Ocean Beach. The staff is incredibly amazing, attentive, and friend-worthy. Northside can and does become a home for those who visit and that live here. Their Chef, Johnny Sacco (Snake), is the most badass delicacy creator and inventor of amazing and delicious dishes. The prices are on point with both food and drink. Both pool tables are typically surrounded by kind and friendly patrons. Wednesday's they have FREE POOL!! Opening at 8am everyday makes getting up for a hair of the dog a fantastic idea. The open windows and giant barn style open door creates a delightful breeze that swells in from the ocean that's located only a few blocks down. This place is the beez jam and many locals number one main destination for a hang out spot. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Highly recommend Mothers in OB, San Diego. Must of had at least 20 TVs to watch sports, the food was excellent, the best salads we've ever eaten, good prices & great service. Ordered the Baja Salad with chicken, substituted the cucumber and corn for the goat cheese, we also had the marinated chicken Caesar salad, both awesome. We also had the spinach artichoke dip in a fresh baked bread bowl with large Parmesan chips. Was a nice younger crowd, seemed like we were the oldest group of people there. Very friendly atmosphere.
