Nice park. Mostly quiet. I'm 37 and would come here on occasion to run (from here to along the beach) since I was about 16. It's relaxing after a run. The occasional homeless hang out here and the City of Carlsbad has done decent keeping it them to a minimum. There is a time capsule here that will be opened July 4th 2076

I just use the bathroom at this park open to public

This is a historical location and I love history! beautiful rose garden...when you go, you will be surrounded by 🦋 and 🕊️ Great for everyone! If you enjoy a picnic, this is a great place, the grass is perfect for sitting down and walking barefoot. The beach entrance is a few feet away and Starbucks at about a block away. The Audubon society is nearby and open now for bird watching. Also, the St Michaels church is is across the street. it's an old church that is open and the staff is ready to share its story. You will find the village at walking distance. If you like to learn about history and sightseeing, this is the perfect spot to spend the afternoon without a lot of walking

Beautiful, peaceful, mostly empty at noon early in April. Would be a great place for a picnic. Please pick up after yourself unlike one slob who left all his fast food trash behind. The flowers and rose garden are beautiful.

I don't believe there are public use electrical outlets at Magee Park.
Yes, as of this past weekend it was. People were picnicking.
