We spent the weekend chasing waterfalls and Yellow Branch Falls was my favorite! The hike was so worth it! I suggest going on a cool day or early morning though.

Easy to moderate hike taking about 2-3hr in and out trail. Dog friendly and also kids can walk most of the trail. Waterfall at the end is nice and decent enough to just sit and enjoy the view while having lunch.

The falls were absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend taking water on your hike. It took me and my Husband about an hour each way. We're 50 so probably not as fast as others. Also wear proper footwear. Lots of roots and rocks on the path. I counted 3 wooden bridges and 5 stream crossings. I would not bring kids here because the walking path gets very narrow in some places. Definitely worth the time for a little adventure. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because of the restroom. Otherwise perfect.

It is an easy hike. Beautiful scenery, and the trail crosses several small creeks. The areas where is crosses waterways are fixed with raised steps so you do not get wet or muddy. (Unless you are dragged off by a dog on a leash :)
Yes there parking but the area is small we park long side the road 😁 so if you go you have to go early.
