My family rented this place for the rehearsal dinner of my brother's wedding the following day... and it was wonderful! The food, in my opinion, was amazing! I, personally, had the salmon and it was definitely at the top of my top 3 salmon meals ever 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 the slight teriyaki drizzle on top just made it THAT much tastier and the gigantic baked potato (with the fixings that you can add JUST how you like it) was the proverbial "cherry on top" 👍🏻 I've never been here for a "regular" dinner but I can't imagine the food would be anything but amazing on any other night 😺 My only "issue" is just that there is no liquor served at all...we had to get a special permit for just beer & wine (and, my personal favorite, sangria)... Coming from NYC, this was just a bit odd for me...but I understand this is something of a town "ordinance" 🤷🏼♀️ I do highly recommend this place 😺 the atmosphere is very cozy and the staff is friendly & attentive...if you're ever in the Cashiers, NC area, do stop by for some great food! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We had a very good meal. Wait staff was great, reasonably priced breakfast and excellent service. No more expensive than a Bob Evans or Big Boy breakfast.

The service was good, and the staff were attentive. The food was okay! It wasn't amazing, and it wouldn't be my first choice. That being said, the food tasted fresh, and was good enough.

Not impressed. When we first arrived, I was expecting good things since I had heard good things. The service was slow, and our waitress barely came to our table. We had to call her over to ask for refills. I ordered the slabtown burger and wanted to add bacon. They forgot the bacon, so I kindly asked them to bring me some bacon. I got a single shriveled piece that was covered in grease (keep in mind they charged me $2 EXTRA for adding the bacon). Their bacon wasn’t the only thing covered in grease. The fries were extremely undercooked and they were absolutely smothered in grease. The only reason I’m giving a star is because the burger (when I finally had a reasonable amount of bacon on it) was good. I wouldn’t recommend that anyone eat here until this place learns to be more competent.
