Food was good. Clearly home cooked style, which we enjoyed. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. We were not in a hurry, so it was a great place to have some tea and be still with the family before off and exploring again. Our server was sweet, they were busy, but attentive to what we needed. It felt less like restaurant and more like a quaint, friendly inn.

Hit or miss on some menu items, but also has the potential busy out my favorite pork chop anywhere around. Nice specials, solid portions. A little bland, both in ambiance and in flavor, but it's hard to not be charmed by the kind folks there. Take your grandpa, take your kids, just take your time. It'll be pretty good.

This was our first time as we were passing through. The owner is wonderful. The food was southern home cooking and tasted perfect. Will definitely come back. The mom and pop restaurant to go to.

I love to go there. I just have one complaint, though. They used to give you a free meal on your bIrthday. I never saw signage that said the policy had changed. They changed it to a free desert. I went on my birthday and wound up having to pay for my meal when I was not expecting it. Sorry, but I am not a mind reader. I understand that you may have to cut back on benefits, but you should let people know so they would know what to expect. Before the owner gets all sassy with me, I do love to come here. That is why I gave you five stars. The restaurant is always clean, the food is good, and the staff has always treated me good. I still like to come here.
