We celebrated our family's 50th family reunion here. It is beautiful here and the cabins are huge and clean. Everyone seemed to enjoy their stay here. We had every cabin booked as well as some RV spots. Looking forward to next year.

It's one of the few places around here that small kids can play at. There are some issues though. The parking lot needs painted lines so people will park more efficiently, most of the equipment needs to be updated or at least painted, the tall black landscape edging should be removed so disabled parents can move around the park without having to worry about tripping on it (like I did), and since the water fountains are turned off there should be at least a couple of drink machines.

If you just want to spend some.time on the water its great. Boat rental was super cheap even though its only a flat bottom with a trolling motor. Really nice place to hang out for a day.

Love this campground! Terrific roomy cabins!! Excellent walking trail. Public docs and good fishing!

You have to have a code to the gate After 10 pm But you can go to the playground an Swimming there is no gate to them areas I believe they asked people to leave at Sun down still . We were just there
Dont know about for free but you can camp.
I would 100 percent do it of I was living in a trailer there until told otherwise
It depends on what mood the groundskeeper is in. Or if you have a tent or rv.
As far as I know there are no sites to rent. At least I've never seen any campers there. And I've been there about 100 times. Although there could be sites just no one ever uses them. It's not the cleanest water to swim in. Sorry not more helpful.
