This is our go to spot in SE Portland. We like the dark and cozy inside and the bustling and active outdoor seating options as well as great drinks. The servers are always friendly and they have a bomb plant based/vegan burger with awesome shoe string fries. The happy hour is also fabulous for food and drinks and you will probably run into us at some point if you come in because we are there all the time. I highly recommend stopping in.

Great happy hour! Perfect for when you want to grab a drink while you're waiting for your Saburo's sushi to be ready :) The nachos are delicious as well (although obviously not for when you're waiting for sushi)! There is some outdoor seating available

Why did I wait so long? I mean cmon. This place has been around almost a century, of course they have their sh*t figured out. Ordered the motor city nachos with the bacon and avocado, as well as a classic deluxe burger. While the burger was as expected and very good while still being classic diner/pub food. The star was these nachos. Holy moly were they amazing. BBQ, Nacho, slaw... mouth watering goodness. Plenty to feed 2 people, we couldn't even finish. Not to mention the bartender and service was incredible. The bartender was so nice, and very informative. Would come back just based on his attitude alone. The drinks were alright, nothing special, and even a little on the sweet side. Gave me the feeling of a college town dive bar if that makes sense. Either way! I will definitely be coming back and trying more!
