So my friend I decided to drop by to Amelia's on a whim and it was by far the best spontaneous decision yet! I've never been and I was feeling really home sick as a California girl, so the ambience made me feel right at home. Everything was lovely, the smell of the food brought back memories of my moms kitchen, the music in the background were songs my Mexican father played back in the day. And the food, goodness gracious. The portions were huge! The prices might look expensive on the menu but trust me you will be well fed. In my picture I included the burrito I ate and threw in a silverware knife for scale. The food is absolutely delicious and gave me the nostalgic food memory flash back like in Ratatouille where the goth food review guy eats and is reminded of his mom's food. I felt like I was eating my mom's cooking again. They also have tasty vegan options which is great! If you're in the mood for authentic Mexican food and don't mind a possible food coma, then by all means give this place a shot!

I am so thankful they are offering in-house dining again. This is one of my favorite lunch locations when I am in the office. I am a creature of habit and always get the chicken mole burrito. Lots of sauce, but not so much that it is drowning the burrito.

Great authentic Mexican food. Queso Fundido was pretty good. More creamy than stringy. Beers were large and margaritas were delicious.

Amelia's us a very good authentic Mexican restaurant. They have recently streamlined their menu, eliminating my one go to dish posole. That to me was probably the best dish on the menu and my main reason for going. It was amazing. hopefully they'll bring it back. We had the chicken enchiladas with the green tomatillo sauce absolutely delicious. Perfectly dressed and cooked. We also shared the bowl, it's like a taco salad but way better very well put together with fresh vegetables this particular bowl was topped with El pastor between the two sharing it was more than enough food for two people with leftovers. Although the menu has been streamlined they're still worth the visit as the service and food is top notch. As always remember be mindful be happy be you. Choose well.😊

Hi, Jeff. Yes, the recipes come from the same place and our kitchen staff have all been trained to use the same method to prepare our dishes. The main difference is location and interior size. Thanks!
Yes! Amelia's has terrific vegetarian and vegan options, including a vegetarian rice, which is very tasty! To note, the vegetarian rice is green here and the non-vegetarian rice is the classic orangey color.
I didn't order that so I don't know
Depends on what you'd like to get without cilantro - possibly worth calling ahead about. They've been incredibly accommodating of various requests we've had, but cilantro is one those things that's just IN certain (but not all) sauces. That being said, I've had a decent cross section of their menu at this point, and the worst of it is still amazingly delicious. I cannot recommend strongly enough that you enlist their help in finding the right dish for you.
Salads yes, but not taco salads. The food is meant to be traditional from different regions in Mexico.
