Worst place to buy furniture EVER! We went to the store in October of 2021 and placed an order for over $20k worth of furniture. The sales lady (Elizabeth) said all items would deliver by January. January became February and February became March and March became April and so forth. They overpromised to sell the items but under delivered. Do not buy anything from this store. When you follow up, Elizabeth doesn’t answer and neither does the main office. Least ethical place I’ve ever shopped at. They consistently lie and do not care about the customers whatsoever. Waiting 8-9 months for furniture is ridiculous. If they were transparent from the get go, I wouldn’t have wasted my time. Potential buyers please stay away from City Furniture. You’re better off buying elsewhere.

The initial process was fast and easy! I made it very easy for Thomas, who was helping me, because I already knew what I wanted. The left chaise was back ordered until May 18 but the rest of the set would have been available the following day for delivery. I booked the delivery for the 24th so I could only have one delivery instead of taking two days off of work and have into a coordinate with my building to use the elevator. A couple of days before delivery I got a notification about my items being delivered but the chaise said it was on back order. I reached out to Thomas and told him about this and he told me to disregard it that it was indeed IN STOCK and I would have a FULL complete set on Tuesday the 24th. The day of the delivery my items were delivered with the exception of the chaise!!!! Thomas had lied to me!!!! I had to take an extra half day off of work the following day and coordinate with my building so I could receive the other half of my couch. I feel Thomas should have given me some sort of a discount and/or a set of pillows for his lies and inconvenience!!! Had I known I would’ve had to do two different deliveries, I could’ve just received my couch the following day and waited for the chaise. I had been out of a couch for 2 1/2 weeks because I waited for the complete set; I didn’t want to have to take more time off of work. But at the end of the day I had to take time off of work!! I reached out to Thomas to ask for any compensation and he ignored my email and failed to get back to me!!!! I do love my couch. The delivery drivers were very fast and efficient. However, if I was to ever purchase anything from this store again, I would not have Thomas be my sales person. I am disappointed with his lack of Accommodations and communication skills.

Bought a couch less than 6 months ago and we were persuaded on buying a cleaning protection plan that I wanted to use as after washing some of the parts in the washing-machine did not removed. I called in to request a service from my 3 year protection plan and they told me there is small letter that does not cover this situation as its "only if you spill something or vomit on it" (But beware, you must also call 3 days after the incident happened otherwise it doesn't apply either). It's great to see how they will do anything to cover the service we paid for. On the process of washing myself the pieces one of the biggest zippers broke they will not respond to that either (Terrible quality that is not covered by any manufacturer warranty either). I tried at least to get a refund on that cleaning service plan and they said NOT POSSIBLE EITHER. I had the headache of working with representative Samanthia, who said she could not put anyone on the phone superior to her. Then she pretended to be someone else on the phone and I caught her, big fraud by the way! After I called again I got Cynthia who just repeated the same thing over and over. I wished the sales person would have gave us more information as it wasn't a cheap piece at all. PLEASE DON'T INVEST HERE. There is a million places to buy furniture nowadays and those places might care for their customers.

I ordered a bed from City Furniture in September! They delivered half of the bed in September because they “didn’t have storage” to hold it until the other half came. So I’ve been sleeping on the floor watching these boxes for 5 months. Finally, the other part was supposed to arrive last Thursday…. They reschedule without notice AGAIN. After calling relentlessly the rest of the bed arrives today. I told the delivery man that I had paid for the assembly service and he says that he is going back to the truck to get his partner to put it together. He NEVER CAME BACK. Flat out lied to my face. I am woman and there’s no way I can assemble that canopy bed on my own, which is why I’d gotten the premium service in the first place. I’ve gotten days of work off to wait for these deliveries and can never seem to have my bed in place. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. It’s not worth it.
