All I want to comment on is costumer service. My family, 4 adults and three young kids. Took a 5:30 reservation (get in early and get out with kids) This very nice steak house is held in a kid friendly hotel, so kids are welcomed, but the do not accommodate them well. No kid menus and kid drinks/cups. (But, we assumed that going in) We were the FIRST table sat in the restaurant, we ordered promptly to get the kids fed. Our apps came out timely, but 1 hour and 45 min later after I watch about 3/4 other tables sit and order after us get there food first. I did make a comment to our waiter about the delay, he said he’d have the manager come and talk with us. But, our food came out shortly after and the manager never stopped by. My frustration is that the manager never addressed our table. I watched the manager actually round on surrounding tables and ask about the service, but not ours. I also noticed after I made a comment, the staff stopped rounding on us as well. We spent over $800 at the restaurant and was super disappointed at how they handle the situation. We travel to this area often and won’t be returning here.

We had a party of six who came for dinner last evening 3/4. Everything was excellent. Service was top notch and the food everyone ordered was delicious. Very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Our drinks were great too. Atmosphere is just perfect and our waiter Fabian was wonderful. Megan, the general manager is just who any restaurant needs in charge of their establishment. Our reservation was a little delayed but she was extremely communicative and lovely. She genuinely cares about guest satisfaction and went the extra mile, even though we were totally fine waiting. Thanks again.

This is my first time dining at this restaurant and I decided on the pan seared chicken. There’s a very full texture and taste, you can taste every herb in the dish, as well as and the vegetables are glazed beautifully. The rum and Coke I ordered was to my preferred strength both times I ordered it Chicken isn’t terribly challenging to retain moisture, but the chef here brought out more than the organic flavor with a medley of spices; truly a great chicken breast. I have no reason to critique the food at this establishment as the chef tonight, aside from possibly oversalting the chicken a TAD, chicken is easy to overseason. With that being said, Chef Reshaud(?), prepared my chicken so well I thought it was sous vide. The service was fairly good with the servers observant more often than not, but we are also staying at the hotel, so take that for what you will. As I assume most people attending this restaurant are staying at the hotel, I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough. Given that the chef is consistent every night, I’m not afraid to call this one of the best places to take your date if money isn’t an issue. Disclaimer: the restaurant is in the hotel, the Diplomat, and doesn’t have an extravagant amount of dining space but they make up for it with the tall ceilings and attentive service.

There are some fantastic places to eat in South Florida. There is also no shortage of Steakhouses, apart from your traditional chains, Ruth Chris, Capital Grille, Morton's etc you have some luxury hotels with some great steakhouses such as the W in Fort Lauderdale. But don't let the Diplomat Prime go under the radar. Located in the The Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood, Curio Collection by Hilton. The hotel has some breathtaking views and houses one my favorite steak houses in South Florida. The service is beyond excellent, the attention to detail and every dish from the appetizers ( my wife and I had the oysters and octopus) were delicious. On the main course I went with the Bone-in Filet Mignon. WOW is all could say, cut through it like butter. Exquisite taste, char and presentation. Cooked perfectly and enjoyed every single bite. To wrap up the night we had the crème Brule which as a perfect way to wrap up an amazing dinner. I was celebrating my promotion and my wife and I were delighted but the great service and small details to recognize we were celebrating something special. Will definitely visit soon and maybe stay at the resort.
