You would think for the location of this breakfast franchise you would have some DECENT professionalism but that is far from it. I came into this establishment looking for some quality breakfast food to fill my hunger. I was greeted at the door by what seems to be 4-5 servers/hosts who were bantering about who should take me as their guest between themselves as if it was a nuisance to even seat me. My actual server who finally attended to me was Devon, very respectful gentleman who did his best but unfortunately was not enough to save my sour experience here. We were given dirty silverware that Still had food stuck in between the fork and residue on the spoon and knife. I flagged down a different server by the name of “Ari” who gave me the excuse of “my bad sometimes we forget about some of the dirty ones.” That’s one of the worst things you can tell a customer as you now begin to wonder what other things they could’ve forgot? As she brought us a new set she then proceeded to have an attitude after we said we didn’t need anything else as if she was verbally fishing for a back and forth exchange which was uncalled for. She than yelled back at our server to tend to us once again making it seem WE we’re the issue. Once our food arrived the quality was a solid 4/10. You can tell the lack of effort that was actually put into the food from the kitchen staff which was very disappointing. My partner was also missing a food item of hash browns that we never received after letting Devon known of the issue. While eating, the servers and hosts decided to sit in the empty booths and have a full blown conversation about their personal lives loud enough for me to hear everything they had going on. There’s a time and place to discuss such matters but sitting in an empty booth behind customers is not the right move! Definitely will not be coming back here and advise anyone not to at all.

We used to come here for breakfast every now and then for a couple of years. The waitresses were usually nice and would make pleasant conversation, the prices great for the amount of food we got, and the food was delicious. On the downside, almost every time I went to order a seasonal item it was out of stock. Just about every single time, without fail. Also, the staff are nice but they are sometimes shorthanded. We've seen a couple customers not seated for so long they just leave. Docking a point for that, but still a great place when you have a server notice you.

As a business owner myself, I love to support local businesses. However, I know how important it is to keep up with maintenance and appearance. It's one of the first things customers see and can make or break their opinion of your business. I was disappointed with the poor level of maintenance at this Ihop Carrollwood Dale Mabry Hwy, location. The entrance sidewalk was a complete mess and the windows were filthy. Inside, the floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in days. While the food and service were good, the overall poor level of maintenance indicates that this business is not well-run. This poor maintained appearance unfortunately reflects poorly on the business as a whole. I hope this feedback reaches the right people so that corrective action can be taken. The impression i got from manager Tom was that he didn't care. sad to say, this poor maintenance led to my poor experience. Tom never once came to my table, and when i did speak to him, it was clear that he wasn't interested in my concerns. as a result, i left feeling frustrated and disappointed. poor maintenance is something that can easily be fixed, but it's sadly something that Tom doesn't seem to care about.

This is our favorite ihop. There’s usually only a couple of people working and they all have a great attitude. One time, a hostess even stepped in to handle our table because the only server was so busy. The foods consistently good. The dining area could be more clean, but that’s probably due to always being understaffed.

I am the type of guy that loves is meat well done after scene to the kitchen for the second time I decided not to up for the third; I told management that I was going to take to go container so I can take my spec home because it wasn't well done is it okay let me get the manager manager comes and she says well I thought you wanted a medium rare steak I said no I did not she said that's what was in the order I told her I didn't want it out of my check but she didn't bother assisting at least make the customer feel comfortable or right instead she argue with me I think they should put this restaurant under New Management you definitely call me. PS there's only 6 customers and the restaurant!!! Damn!!!!!! It took forever
