Our first stop after arriving in Maine for the fourth of July week. Excellent patio area. Lots of seating options inside. Numerous beer choices. Staff was helpful with everything. Gluten free pizza crust was really good. Decent parking but we were there in the middle of the week.

We were traveling along 295 and spotted this on the map. It is right off the highway and definitely worth the stop! All of the beer we tried was quite good! Prices were very reasonable as well! We did not get the pizza, but it smelled and looked wonderful! I hope we find ourselves along this road at some point in the future. We would love to stop in again for a meal.

Stopped in while visiting from Delaware. This was a bucket list visit stop and it lived up to expectations. Maine Beer Co. is a fairly simple place. They repeatedly have the same options which they focus on perfectly. The result is some truly excellent beer. They also focus on sustainability which is awesome. They have pizza available as well. If you are deciding what to get, Dinner, and Second Dinner are the best options in my opinion.

Very cool experience! The young, hipster crowd vibe was very evident, yet the music was classic 80s, making the place inclusive of a larger demographic. They even accommodated us without a reservation on a busy Sunday afternoon. Service was quick and friendly. Fire-grilled pizzas with avant guard toppings (as well as traditional) were excellent and if your spouse is a beer drinker but you're not, they do have wine and seltzer choices on the menu. Overall, a great outing!

Absolutely, they even have short cycle or test brews available for purchase and everything is available for tasting.
We do have a gluten free crust option, just make sure to specify when you order.
Sorry it is not legal for us to ship directly to consumers. Our beer is very widely available throughout Massachusetts, so check with your local beer shop.
No we offer food in house
We can not take bottles back. You can take them to any redemption center for a deposit return. The information about growlers is incorrect, we do not fill growlers at our tap room.
Sorry our beer is not available in Europe
If you are ordering for a business you need to go through our distributor Craft Maine. If you are just purchasing a keg for home, we have limited kegs available for pickup at our tasting room.
Hi Jean, we only offer one gift card in our online store. This is the only card that can be used at our tasting room, it just comes in different increments based on how much money you want to put on the card.
Hi John, we are releasing Dinner today on draft and in bottle. We also have our new beer Wolfe's Neck IPA. We open at 11am
It is a "BEER CATHEDRAL...!!!"
It depends. But for optimal freshness most beer should be used within 60-90 days
Something on the internet pedigreed in this topic, certainly more knowledgeable than me: In short, no issue. As explained by George de Piro, a biochemist and Brewmaster of C. H. Evans Brewing Company— When light hits beer, it provides the energy necessary to drive a reaction that transforms the iso-alpha-acids into 3-methyl-2-butene-1-thiol. The “thiol” part of that somewhat cumbersome name indicates that there is sulfur present. Sulfur compounds often have strong, offensive aromas. Some musteline animals, like skunks, have evolved the ability to produce this chemical, and use it for self-defense. [...] This photochemical reaction is the only cause of skunked beer. Warm storage, while damaging to the flavor of beer, does not skunk it. Cycling the temperature of beer from warm to cold and back again is also not implicated. Storing beer in the dark is the simple way to prevent skunking.
On the website enter your zip and it will tell you
Buy tickets to the next dinner release. Buy a case at said release.
Thanks. I will Chris. Cheers.
They don't always have Dinner in stock, but come to find out, they will have it in stock Saturday August 5th (and possibly have leftovers Sunday).
Not entirely sure I would call The Brewery during normal business hours
I don't work for them, but live in Freeport. They do distribute in NH. Their website has a location finder.
There is more demand than there is beer.
Contact your distributor to see if they will get the product you want or contact Maine Beer to see if they can ship to you
They sell bottles only. No growlers or fills.
I've seen dogs there, mostly at the outside seats during the summer. There is a dog water bowl on the porch as you go in. Hope this helps.
