Drove all the way out an hour being told I would be able to get some help processing a buck since I did not have the ability or time. Told him he was very far when speaking on the phone. Figured he would be able to help me with the whole process considering he advertises mobile slaughtering. Was told there was nothing that could be done today because his guys weren’t on site because I did not gut or skin the buck. I had no idea as I am new to this and thought that was part of the services he offered. Now the entire animal has gone to waste by the time I have driven back home it is no longer any good for meat. Not even a good will gesture or anything on their part even after knowing all the time and gas wasted on my end. Makes me want to start a butcher business if this is really all they have to offer. Very sad and lame.

Ben's Custom Meats in Dayton Oregon is probably the best experience I have had with any butcher or meat process/cutter. I explained to Ben, when I dropped off my elk, exactly what I wanted. Ben took my hanging wieght and carefully listened to my order. I looked around and noticed the tables, floors and other counters where exceptionally clean and bright. I could see Ben takes pride in his work and customer satisfaction. Ben had my elk meat completely done and perfect within three weeks, his jerky and pepporoni are a perfect blend of flavor and all my elk meat pound for pound was accounted for! I checked others prices around the Yamhill County and Portland area and found his prices to be competitive but fair. I highly recommend Ben's Custom Meats for your butchering processing and wrapping needs.

Very professional and reasonable and honest place. I would highly recommend Ben's Custom Meats. Oh and their pepperoni sticks are wonderful, even our 2 year old granddaughter loves them. Update: we have had 4 cows butchered here in the past year and all have been great.

Delicious jerky and patties! The meats are always doubled wrapped and it's reasonably priced. Friendly custom service every time. Would definitely recommend him for not only your game but for patties and jerky! Seriously the best!!!
