Do not base it off looks! Nice family run hotel with a good price. The place is older but well kept. They did some upgrades in the room. I don't know when it was built but my guess is the 70s or 80s. So it has a retro vibe with modern upgrades. The sink and floor were upgraded. Wifi and roku TV. Make sure you log out of your accounts. Mini fridge and microwave The door to the room is old key turn and the chain lock. The walls are wood panel and furniture is older but that makes it charming to me. The room was VERY clean. We enjoyed the pool too. My son had the fried rice from the restaurant and he said it was really good. We had the pizza and it was pricey but good. Just minutes from the beach. We would definitely stay here again!!

I stayed here for a night. The place itself is an older motel but was kept clean and nice. It had Newer tvs and cold a/c. It’s definitely not a Hilton but I really like the hotel and they had a nice but small breakfast buffet. It was at a quick and accessible location to the beach and Port Bolivar. I’ll definitely come back. The people were super friendly.

Nice family owned / ran hotel. Friendly staff / check in! Rooms were nice & clean. A/C blew ice cold! Clean linens etc. We had Chinese food at their on site restaurant for dinner. They made excellent homemade fried rice! Egg rolls, potstickers & edemame. FREE standard hot breakfast, (eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, toast, fruit & coffee!

Super sweet family owned. Supper and breakfast were delicious. It was a nice ovenight stay for my daughter and me. Bird sanctuary was nearby, then my daughter wanted to take the ferry over to Galveston to spend on beach before heading home.
