The salmon and egg bowl was ok. The bento box was good. The miso soup was excellent. Edamame was fine. Tempura shrimp and vegetables was very good. They also have a few teas we didn't try including peppermint tea. They also sell Japanese snacks.

Passing through Astoria, we didn’t want fast food so we thought we’d order Teriyaki to eat on the road. The lady over the phone told us a 30min wait which we were okay with. I walked in after 15min to pay to find no customers and a quiet place. I paid and was informed another 15min because the chefs were on break. I was okay with that due to her previously letting us know it would be a 30min wait. I came back 15min later to find my food ready. One of the worst Teriyaki chicken experiences we’ve had. Food was not hot like it had just been made, tasted as if it just came out of microwave. We love supporting smaller businesses and Teriyaki is our favorite go-to but this place was super disappointing. On a positive note, the place was clean.

Overall had a very pleasant experience here. The food is definitely enjoyable and delicious! One word of caution - some rolls are named the same for both the meat and vegan option, with the vegan one having a "veggie" suffix. When we ordered our roll "veggie", the person taking our order repeated it without the veggie and we though we were talking about the same thing since we didn't know better. So we ended up with a meat sushi. However, the staff were very courteous and refunded the amount for that roll. The asparagus tempura roll was excellent.

Such a tasty spot!! Service was quick, food and drink selection were both large, and everything I’ve had from this place was delicious. From their sushi to their teriyaki, it’s all fresh & comes in large portions.
