I love the Veterinarian here! He is so amazing and so kind. One of those people you can tell truly loves their profession. I wish I had found him earlier in my pet parenting life, but I am glad I have him now. If you have any questions or concerns, he is right there working through it with you, and he never speaks down to you. He also never pushes ideas or medications. So happy to have him locally.

I am blessed and proud to say that Nehalem Animal Healing is the only place I'll ever take my furr babies. The Dr. And the staff are amazing people. They fixed my little bears leg and did there very best for my Oliver Moe. Thank you guys for all the time and caring work you do. The staff is wonderful and always helpful. Everyone is always happy to be there and answer questions. We always make the drive to nehalem just to take our dogs here, the best vet in the county! We wouldn't think it going anywhere else. Very reasonable pricing on everything! I can't say enough good things about Nehalem Animal Healing, truly the best!

Dr. Matt is my favorite and has been my vet for years and he is also an awesome vet that is the only one in the county helping with spay and neuter at reduced prices for United paws and helps with a clinic a couple times a month and I volunteer for that as well. Heart of gold! His place is super busy and this is why!!! Here are just a few of our many that his clinic helps us with! ❤️🐾❤️

Wednesday is surgery day so they are virtually closed. Try calling them around 9:15 in the morning.

Kathy, she can be spayed and come home the same day. Call to make an appointment and they can tell you all the particulars. There is a spay/neuter clinic every other Saturday where they receive needed shots as well as neutering. She and her brother can be done the same day. He will start spraying soon if not neutered.
Could be a number of things. I would take him/her in in case it's contagious or causing unknown discomfort. Good luck! Hope he/she gets better soon!
They can spay or nueter kittens at 4 months old. It is roughly, because I don't remember exactly what mine cost, $125.
If it is not an emergency then an appointment is recommended. But they will work with you to get your pet in as soon as possible. I've had to take my pup in twice on short notice when she tore her dew claws. They got her in the same day within an hour of me calling.
