I went to Batteries Plus to recycle my long tube florescent lights for just under a buck a piece. Lowe's and Home Depot no longer accept them. I have purchased computer and watch batteries at this store as well. The staff is courteous, efficient and knowledgeable.

I agree with the previous answer you received, they do process them, but with a fee. You should be able to take your fluorescent bulbs to Reclamation centers, locally, for free. I would suggest you call the local Reclamation centers in the city or county that you live in, for more information. Cheers!
