A heads up to anyone with older wood siding and paint that may contain lead. From a distance our house looks great, the crew did a good job. Up close the scraping is very uneven and not what I was hoping for in hiring a professional crew. I was told they can’t sand lead paint. I had assumed it would look consistent and smooth when they were done, it doesn’t. The pictures show just a few of the spots, it’s like this pretty much anywhere that receives a lot of direct sun. I really just wish someone would have told us ahead of time how this would turn out, we may have considered new siding. They were about a month late to start our project due to staffing issues. We were told it would be a two week job but it was done in three days and started while we were out of town, which I want very happy about. The actual painters weren’t from Fresh Coat either, it was another company who actually showed up and painted. They were great but still, not what I expected hiring a reputable company.

Great company to work with. The owner does the bidding and he was professional and friendly. Allowed us many changes during COVID. Team showed up ready to work with pictures on an I Pad for reference. They walked the whole project with my wife for on site Clarification. My wife asked for them to paint more (that wasn't scheduled or planned). The onsite team agreed to do the work, called and confirmed with HQ, stayed late and bailed us out. Top notch work. Trust me-top notch is hard to find in painting these days.

Fresh Coat did a full repaint of the exterior of my house. Theirs was the lowest of several bids I got, came recommended to me by another company that wouldn't touch a lead-paint house, and they did a great job. Started right on schedule, easy communication, and it looks fabulous.
