This is hands down the best DMV I have ever had the joy of going to. I've been going here for years because every employee I've interacted with has been kind, patient and efficient. Specifically, an employee named Brittany, who was at one of the front desks, performed a miracle and was not only able to tell me what the problem was with my vehicle registration, she was able to resolve the issue and hand me the necessary paperwork and decal on the spot. I was in and out within 15 minutes. She is friendliest and most efficient employee I have ever met at any DMV.

Even though there is always a wait, the clerks are very nice. Use the kiosk for faster service when renewing. Update, you must have an appointment if your inable to use kiosk

Yes both but for Drivers license renewal you need an appointment
The have walk in available, but it can be a wake, outside go early. We waited probably 45-1 hr other day.

The cost is $27 for a driver's license, or $29 for a driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement.

There are multiple ways you can process your renewal. 1. Online at mydmv.colorado.gov 2. At one of our Kiosks (All you need is your VIN number and your plate number) 3. You can mail it into one of our offices. 4. You can drop off the renewal with a check in our drop box in front of any MV Office in Arapahoe County. a This will need to include the VIN number, License Plate Number, Check for payment (Made payable to Arapahoe County Clerk), and a good contact phone number.
Yes, you can get temporary tags. You can make an appointment to come into one of our offices or you can use our drop box process. You can schedule your appointment on the Arapahoe County Website https://www.arapahoegov.com/1433/Motor-Vehicle-and-Drivers-License. as we are operating on an appointment only basis. You can purchase a temporary plate by mailing or dropping off the following items in our Arapahoe County Motor Vehicle ‘Drop Box’ (located in front of all of our Arapahoe County Motor Vehicle Offices): 1. A copy of your title (front and back) 2. A copy of your current Colorado insurance card for the vehicle 3. Completed DR2842 –Supplemental Secure and Verifiable Identification form 4. The fees submitted must include sales tax, along with $7.03 for the permit. A check, money order, or cashier’s check made payable to Arapahoe County Clerk 5. A good phone number to call you to arrange payment
You cannot purchase the Colorado plates until we transfer the title over into your name. You can purchase a temporary plate by mailing or dropping off the following items in our Arapahoe County Motor Vehicle ‘Drop Box’ (located in front of all of our Arapahoe County Motor Vehicle Offices): 1. A copy of your title (front and back) 2. A copy of your current Colorado insurance card for the vehicle 3. Completed DR2842 –Supplemental Secure and Verifiable Identification form- You can have anyone sign as a witness. Alterations are not permitted on this form. The acceptable types of identification are listed on the form as well. 4. The fees will be $7.03 for the permit. A money order, or cashier’s check made payable to Arapahoe County Motor Vehicle (with VIN number written in the memo section). 5. A daytime phone number to contact you in case we have any questions
