It's nothing crazy spectacular but this is my favorite local go to trail for a quick daily walk. And the perfect place to watch the sunset, it never gets old

This is a lovely little coastal trail near Ocean Beach. There are a few small free parking lots clustered together along Sunset Cliffs Blvd, but this is a very popular area with regular tourists and locals visiting here morning, afternoon, and at sunset, so plan to arrive early or hunt for a spot or park in the neighborhood around the trail and walk.

Breathtaking place! I love to go walking here and it leads to a trail that’s also amazing. I walk here with my 5 year old so definitely kid friendly but you are walking a little on the side of the street during some points so that’s something to consider if you’re going to walk with children!

I would not recommend going on the trail, because you can stay on the sidewalk and be perfectly safe.
Hahaha. Just like anywhere in SD it is a crapshoot. If you park a block or so into the neighborhood you may have better luck. Friday-Sunday suck for parking no matter what
Not always. Dogs have time restrictions. November to March dogs are not allowed between 9am and 4pm. April through October dogs are not allowed between 9am and 6pm.
And absolutely beautiful, make sure you take poop bags, there aren't any provided

Free all around. The parking lots have been closed for weeks but there's street parking and no cost to walk around.
Strictly prohibited. Signs all over. People do it though. Fine little over $400. In some parts it's not deep, maybe 10-12 feet and of course people have died doing this here because if that if nothing else. Good luck!
