The location is perfect and the rooms are superior for a motel. But we did have a not so pleasant surprise when my wife discovered how expensive our room really was (about 50% more than what she thought she had booked it for). But she could have discovered it before our stay if she had carefully read the confirmation email.

I am going to try to keep this as short as possible but I literally have 1,000,001 positive things to say about this hotel. Is it the Ritz? No. Do they have the most outstanding customer service and people at their front desk? Hell to the yes they do!!! After a horrible experience at another hotel in town and ultimately having my reservation canceled after speaking with a manager at this other hotel my family and I came over to rabbit ears. Lindsey at the front desk was an absolute angel so kind so compassionate and gave us a beautiful room overlooking the river. The process was so smooth and she was so kind I seriously can't say enough good things about her. On her second night that we stayed there Derek at the front desk who we had never met before was beyond courteous and kind. Even with a mask on we could see the smile in his eyes! It really doesn't matter who you catch at the front desk this hotel does an excellent job at staffing the right kind of compassionate people. And the views are undeniable! Stay here you won't regret it. Oh also the beds are really comfy and our room was very clean.

Great value motel, clean and comfortable but no frills (I’m gonna equate it to a Super 8 but with a fun personality). Perfect for me as a solo traveler. Plus the neon sign is amazing!🐇

The beginning of the stay was nice, front desk was nice and we even got discounted spring tickets. The room was left dirty, found a used vape pen under the bed and food in the sheets. The next morning was a different story, the housekeeper was extremely rude. She asked if we were leaving yet, it was 10 AM and check out was at 11. We said no but will be leaving within the next 30 minutes and she proceeded to tell us how rude we were for not being ready for her. Went to the front desk and she didn’t even care how her staff treats customers. I’d rather pay an extra 60 dollars and stay at a Hilton or anywhere else but here.

Typically, I like to go inside and set my bags down. Relax from the drive. Depending in how I feel, I may even take a shower. Sometimes, I even go across the street to the amazing city pool. In Steamboat Springs, the world is your oyster.
Clean, friendly, cheap and breakfast included. They offer package deals with area attractions as well. Price was under $120/night in winter for two queen beds.
I stayed there last month for a week (in between apartments). If ur looking for Ritz Carlton, that is NOT ur place. But it's clean, new mattresses, newly remodeled walk in tiled showers. I'm a local and will tell every single weekend it is sold out, because of quality and price. Request a room in the 200's. That building is on the river, so u can open the slider and the river lulls u to sleep.
