We found this perfectly comfortable for a budget hotel. We arrived in town around noon and stopped to see if they had maps and such, the front desk agent, Mitchell, not only shared a wealth of recommendations and directions to area attractions, but he allowed us to check into our room that early! We chose this hotel based on it's location and having a hot tub and it did not disappoint. We were able to walk to all the local restaurants in the downtown district and also to our train ride. We stayed on a Mon/Tue night which offered quieter time at the hot tub. We found the hotel clean and staff friendly. Yes it is dated and furniture has been used, but it is a budget hotel. Overall, you really can't beat it's location!

Obviously knowing that I do not have a dog, I could clearly see that there's dog hair on the floor but that wasn't until the next morning that's when I found cereal peeking out from underneath the TV stand. It was pretty obvious that it didn't get mopped before my visit why I'm not sure you would think that would be standard! The second I walked in the room I had to call the front desk to ask for a non-smoking room and she said "all the rooms are non-smoking rooms but people don't abide by the rules". I had to spray the whole room down in order to stay I almost didn't and looking back at it I wish I chose somewhere else for just a little more money.

We got the two room Jacuzzi suite. It met our needs very nicely. Bring your own paper towels or napkins if you plan on using the mini kitchen sink. There is also a mini fridge. The toilet (in it's own room with another tub!) and bathroom sink are separate in the bedroom. There are two very large TV's. One in the bedroom that you can view from the bed and the tub and the other is in the living room/kitchen space. The living room has a couch and two chairs. We will come again.

Clerk was pleasant and room was available on time, price was exactly what I reserved for. The room was less than desirable. I felt safe which was important but there was not enough plugs in the room. The refrigerator was not plugged in and in order to plug it in, I had to remove the light. There was no space to plug in coffee pot, I had to move that near the bed to get that to work. Inconvenient but I made it work. When I opened the curtains the window ledge was really dirty. My biggest problem was the bed, it was lumpy and hard and I did not sleep well at all. The breakfast was typical, the clerk kept checking in on everyone to see if we were all good. Basically, the place needs an update to accommodate appliances, phone charges, computer ports etc. and most definitely new beds.
