Top 5 course that I’ve played. Scenery is stunning, resort and staff are excellent, course is very playable. Stay out of the desert and you can definitely score. Front nine is nice, sort of a links golf/desert golf combination, but the back is where the course really shines. Holes 12-15 are all cliffside and absolutely incredible, best 4-hole stretch I’ve ever played. Can’t wait to return!

While the resort is beautiful and the golf course was amazing the front office staff unfortunately are not as professional as you would hope. There was a billing discrepancy due to improper staff training a manager decided to run an additional charge almost 30 days later without a simple phone call as a courtesy. I do not dispute the additional money was owed by any means, but it should have been correctly charged when we checked in. Customer service is not what it used to be and unfortunately it has tarnished my opinion of this beautiful resort and will certainly make me reconsider going back or dealing with the front office staff/manager again. Just thoroughly disappointed, a nice golf destination such as Sand Hallow, cannot make a simple courtesy call.

Went Golfing and had lunch here. Great food, Friendly staff.!! $$$ to play golf here. If you want a complete resort.. This is it. If you just want to play golf i would go to Sky Mountain as it is half the cost for a much more scenic course. I only wanted to play 9 holes but to play the championship course at Sand Hollow you have to play 18 holes. Sky Mountain let me play 9 off the front which is the most scenic of the 18, I thought that was awesome. Sand Hollow does have a 9 hole course named "LINKS" that I was able to play and had great fun. So that did work out even though I wanted to play the Championship course. Maybe next time.!!! Sand Hollow also has free driving range with tee time reservations. That is nice.!!

I have quite a few complaints about this place. They put a small 27 inch TV in the room, the roads leading up to the resort are very poorly lit, the toilet paper was abrasive, and the shower was extremely narrow making you feel like you are going to trip and fall when taking a shower. I found a used Q-tip under the bed and the sheets felt like paper. This place is honestly a glorified Motel 6 and does not deserve to be called a “resort”. If you are planning on golfing a lot this may be a good stay. However, if you are wanting to do activities like hiking in St George, you are better off paying a little bit more for a hotel in St George. I won’t be staying here again.
