Overall we loved this place. Rooms were comfortable and well decorated and the beds were comfortable. The service was outstanding. We even enjoyed a couple of nights downstairs at the restaurant/bar (again outstanding service). The only ding is our bathroom was a bit roughed up. Minor stains and damage around the tub drain and water controls.

I expected more out of a Best Western hotel. We stayed in a King Suite and it was Extremely disappointing. The room was dingy and very outdated. Advertised as lake views, which there were, after you looked pasted the cobwebs and spiders on the outside. No bedside lamps or outlets. Drapes ‘held together’ by duck tape. Noisy, lackluster A/C unit. And the bathroom….I don’t even know where to begin. The staff was great! The lobby and commons areas were clean. Breakfast was good, lots of options.

Staff were always pleasant and friendly. The building is excellent and the North Parlor was fun. Great location. Great sunsets.

We had a wonderful stay here. Right on the lake, the hotel and associated restaurant had great views of Superior. The service was friendly, and the rooms were nice. Would recommend staying here.
