Very disappointing! My daughter went to Camp Tamarack and was in what they call “Adventure Team”. She really liked the counselors, but she hated the camp itself. She was absolutely miserable and had me come pick her up a day early. I was heartbroken for her when she told me the details of her horrible week at camp.

first the food was not 5 star, and the counselors are ok but not the best. The beds have a billion stains on them, and it’s not the place i wanna spend my summer.

My kids have been coming here for years and absolutely love it. It's in the middle of the wilderness on a lake, and there's so much fun to be had. We'll be sad when they grow out of it but for now we'll be back every year. The only downfall is the traffic situation dropping off and picking up, it would be nice if entitled folks could wait their turn like the rest of us.

This past fall, I spent my first week out at Camp Tamarack as a student leader. It was the most unforgettable experience ever! The first time I came to camp was in 5th grade. My cabin and I looked up to our student leader and thought she was just so cool and we wanted to be like her. It makes me feel good that I made that impact on some of these 5th graders too. I made so many new friends and improved myself a lot. I learned many new skills, such as leadership, communication, and time-management. We are always here to support each other and learn new things while having fun. Please take your child here for some time out at camp or volunteer as a high schooler! I promise you that you’ll never forget it.
