Editing for today: There is apparently a league Monday afternoon which should have been mentioned when we got there at 1:30. We finished nine and the old man behind the counter said "I thought you would have been through by now" which was strange because we played nine holes in 2 hours which is 15 minutes ahead of schedule so I'm not sure how fast he thought we were going to play. Instead of letting us play he told us we would either have to wait a few hours till everyone in the league teed off which is ridiculous or he offered us a nine-hole rain check which we took. Absolute garbage considering I came out to play a full 18 and paid for it. The customer service is seriously lacking. I'll be back to claim my nine holes and then after that I believe I'm done with this course which is a shame because after all the years of coming here, it looks like they're finally trying to fix it up a little bit. Stone Meadows and Hideaway Hills will now get my money. Do better. 9 hole course. Pretty well maintained. Nothing too challenging and cheapest place around.

Beautiful and well kept course for the money. The staff, specifically Jessica and Carl, are extremely accommodating. A repeat for sure when visiting the area.

Disclaimer: I've never felt compelled to write a positive OR negative review on Google before, but this was such an awful experience I felt that I had to share... I've only ever played one round of golf in my life prior to attending this course. I'm very much an amateur. I was with a group of 6 other people when I attended the course. We purchased two separate tee times and thought we would play behind each other and have a good time. The group I was with has done this dozens of times before at courses in the tri-state area. Me being the amateur, I was slow and was taking pointers from everyone. I was playing terribly, but was having a blast. I was learning all of the usual golf courtesies from the crew. Everything was great until we let a party play ahead of us at the 5th hole. The party behind us went ahead of their tee time, so they were breathing down our necks for the first 5 holes. On two instances, their drives fell within 10 feet of us while we were trying to chip onto the green. I asked the crew if that was normal. They said it was no big deal. That kind of thing happens often and we would just let them play ahead of us. The crew behind us ended up being very friendly, and after explaining that we had a few beginners in our party, they gave some advice and carried on with their morning. We didn't want to inconvenience them, and didn't want to get pelted with any balls. With no warning, halfway through hole 6, things went downhill. We were paid a visit from "the owner's wife". She never identified herself as anything but that. I thought that was strangely unprofessional, as this human being must have a name. She never did give us her name. She was confrontational from the start of the encounter until we drove the carts off the course and called it quits (after paying for 18 holes). She never afforded us the opportunity to split up after we merged our groups. A person in our party who knows the owner has played the course for 15 years and knows the owner. They have had parties of 8 or more, with small children running around, and this woman decides to trouble us when we were minding our own business. Come to find out, through an admission of guilt, the seniors in our group knew the maximum party size was 4. However, while we were on the course we stayed in the same order. Nobody was behind us and the group we let pass ahead were far ahead of us by this point. We offered to split the group at least twice, and "the owner's wife" simply drove off and watched from behind us, (in hindsight, we think she was pretending to be on the phone) got on the phone with her husband, and started saying she had to babysit us like children. It was one of the most unprofessional interactions I've ever had in my life. Clearly this woman has never taken a course in conflict resolution, and had no regard or even the slightest interest in letting us continue with the game. She had her mind made up when she confronted us that we would be kicked off the course. I was wondering if it could have been my fault for playing slowly, but I was following every rule that I knew (including maintaining a party size of 4 or less). She kept threatening us and told us that letting the other crew play ahead was a bad thing. The whole incident lasted about 10 minutes of back and forth before we finally drove off and told her we would never be back. We got to the parking lot, handed in the carts, and talked with people who got out of their cars and witnessed the tail end of the ordeal that this course was a waste of time and money. They got back in their cars and left. I can honestly say I'm hesitant to even try another course after today. This is not a friendly course in the slightest, with very unprofessional and confrontational employees. If "the owner's wife" ever reads this, thank you kindly for ruining our day. I don't know what you've went through recently that caused you to lash out and treat us like children, but rest assured I will not be back to your property. Neither will every avid golfer I know.

Took my Dad golfing today. We both really enjoyed it. The course and weather were perfect. I plan on trying my hand at golf next week. I was told they have clubs to rent. I need left handed clubs. Hope they have them. Thanks again for a great day
