Not much to look at but the food was excellent. Hamburger bun was so soft it almost melted in your mouth, well season handmade patty cooked to perfection. Clam chowder excellent with just the right amount of clams and seasoning. Onion ring was delicious too.

Nice atmosphere. Staff was very attentive and very nice. The food was good and plentiful for the price.

The chowder, which was recommended to me was a seasoned bowl of warm milk with a potato or two in it. Was thin like water. Not thick and creamy, like a clam stew. Also, the staff seemed cold, once they sat me, I didn't see them again till I ordered food, then back again with the food. And couldn't answer me straight when I asked how much extra the bread with the soup was, when she offered it to my girlfriend and I. She said... I think a buck or so. But then noted on the menu it clearly stated about $3. Honestly, for what you get, seemed a tad overpriced. Won't be going back. Go to a place called... Captain's choice. It's way better and way more friendly. And the chowder is awesome too.

Nice spot. I did not like the idea of having to order before sitting down as I wanted a drink first. They did allow me to sit and have a long Island before I ordered. We had shrimp cocktail, chowder, garlic bread, basket of halibut and basket of chicken strips. My 19 year old kid isn't picky and starving and hated the chicken strips. He said they were sogging and nasty. My girl said bread was burnt and gross. We loved the shrimp, halibut and chowder. Bartender, waiter and bus boy did a great job. We had a little mix up with Bill but got it straightened out. I would stop by again if we ever made through again.

Their clan chowder is okay, but it's not the best I've had. There's a little restaurant on the boardwalk in Coos Bay that has the best clam chowder.
No, they don't deliver.
There is a sidewalk out front but it's on the opposite side of where the fireworks are.
The clam chowder there is really good!
