This park is not only amazingly well kept, it is absolutely beautiful. So glad it is right off of I84 to utilize as a great rest stop. The bathrooms were very well maintained and clean. It also has a decent size play ground for the kiddos! If you're driving and need somewhere to streatch this is a great place to do that.

One of the most beautiful parks I've seen in such a small town. Make time to stop and have lunch!!

I wish I could express face to face my feelings about this park to whoever owns it. They would not enjoy that experience. We stopped at the one green place within miles so my dog could get out and walk around - maybe dip his feet in the water because it's 100°. They don't allow dogs at all at the main park. There are signs everywhere saying dogs aren't allowed on the grass. And then there's a 'dog park' on the other side that's a complete joke. No water access, no fenced areas so it's not actually a dog park it's just an area to keep dogs away from the main beach. And there is NO WATER, no fountains, bathrooms, anything on the dog park side. Whoever owns this place is a terrible person.

Great little stop. There’s an ok bathroom, a beach area, swimming without sharks, and a couple spots to camp out near the water at the adjacent marina. There are a couple of places to get something to eat within walking distance. If you want to stretch your legs and get back to your driving frenzy, this is a good spot.

Questions & Answers

Do they have RV with full hookups?

Not that i know of. You can dry camp a rv on the spit along the river just past the marina. Its a very windy location on the west end of the spit. This is more of a day use park.

Excuse me, how much do you charge to enter?
