One the best libraries around. Belongs to MINERVA system so I can request books (at no charge) that they do not have but other Maine libraries do. Have free museum passes. Excellent selection of books. And the staff is very helpful. I don't live in a town the library serves, but I pay to be a member. That is how good it is.

Judith. Yes. We are looking for volunteers to help us prep for carpet replacement in the children's room. Sessions are: Thursday, Nov 4, 9 am to 12 pm or 1 pm, Saturday, Nov 6, 9 to noon or 1 to 3, and Tuesday, Nov 9, 5:30 pm til done (8-ish?). Call during open hours this week and we'll answer your questions. Thanks!
We aren't able to take books at this time as space is limited but stay tuned as the summer sales continue, we may be able to accept donations at a later date. Thank you for thinking of the library! This year our sales are being held outside the Gingerbread House at 500 Main Street in Norway. The first one is this Saturday, May 8, 10-1. Other dates May 22, June 12 & 26, July 10 & 24, and August 14. Because this is an outdoor event, rain may cause cancellations.
They are currently doing parking lot pickup. You call ahead with your "order" and pick it up the next day from the back parking lot. Drop off is in the book drops. They are asking that if you are returning CDs or movies to please bag (and tie shut) so they don't pop open and get damaged.
10 am every day except Thursday which is open at noon
