If I am in the area, I always stop by to grab a dog or sandwich. Absolutely love their old fashioned dog or beer sausage, I always walk away with two. If I am really hungry, I go for the pastrami rueben, they make their pastrami in house and it is among the best in Portland. Otto's is a Portland institution, never change.

Their sausages on the outdoor grill are incredible! And you can ask for your bun to be preheated so it's nice and crispy with the sausage! Then once you have your sausage on the bun, there are several choices to top it with...my favorite 😍 is their saurkraut...I pile that on along with Portland Ketchup, German mustard and diced onions! It's all a big mouthful IF you can get your mouth around the huge sausage and bun with all the accompaniments! It takes a good half hour to eat it! 😋 Once we're all done eating outside at their picnic tables we go inside to order from behind the deli and butcher counter. We always get sausages to go as well as their saurkraut, macaroni salad, coleslaw and meats for sandwiches! 🥪 And if you want to take home a hot meal you can order behind the other counter and get something really good to take home! 🏡 While you're waiting you can browse around the store for German canned foods and various authentic delicacies they have! There's so much to choose from and I'd definitely recommend Otto's if you have a craving for a delicious sausage that has a good, crisp snap with every bite you take! 😍

A perfect German deli. The only way they ruin this is by changing anything. I hope they never even renovate, so they can keep their quality high and prices low. This is probably my favorite Portland spot if I'm craving a $5 charcoal grilled sausage with a $3.95 bottle of cold Weiss beer.

03/12/17: 5 out of 5 - First time to Otto's Sausage Kitchen, and I've been wanting to try this place out since driving by it so many times. Well, today was the day. There is nothing pretentious about this place. Considering this isn't really a restaurant, the staff are quick and nice. The sausages were absolutely amazing! The sandwiches looked great from what I saw from other patrons, and they described it as "...you get more than your money's worth." There is such a great selection of things to choose from, and this will require for me to come back for more. I would definitely say, I will be coming back as there is so much more for me to try. So, if you haven't done so, come try this place once and decide for yourself. Enjoy!

You'll have to ask Ottos. The answers are from Guides, not always do owners monitor these questions. You'd have to call to arrange it anyway. Really nice folks on the phone as well as in person. Old timey store. Great customer service. Go ahead. Give them a call.
Yes, but must visit the Hungary location for optimal satisfying results.
Sorry..i didn't see any
Sorry I don't know that answer you're going to have to call them up
Do you mean blutwurst? (Blood sausage). That is different to bratwurst.
