Absolutely gorgeous, no pounding surf, gentle more like a lake but nice clean beach.

Lovely, long state park beach with decent surf. It’s a more relaxed alternative to Higgins - 5 minutes further down the road, and with a LOT more parking. There’s a good mix of families, surfers, and 20-30 something gatherings.

Waves were awesome. Nice clean beach. Guys at the gate we're helpful and polite. Lifeguards on duty so parents can relax. Food truck there was nice but super over priced. We will definitely be going back here again! But will most likely pack our own lunch.

We live 10 miles away. There are many wonderful beaches in our area. But Scarborough Beach is our favorite. It’s pristine and quiet. Wonderful for a long walk listening to the waves.

Scarborough Beach State Park does not get that type of weed
We were there when the water was only 50 degrees so we didn't go in. We were there when the tide was coming in and there was no seaweed on the shoreline or in the shallows.
