Has lots to offer: ceramics, metalsmithing, stained glass, fused glass... plus a big paining studio with good light. Also, it is the most affordable studio membership I’ve found in the area.

I love it. Facilities are improving and the community couldn't be better - unless YOU join us! Please consider it!!!!

Artascope is a non-profit, peer learning, art community in Yarmouth that saved my retirement. The studios moved to Yarmouth the same month that I finished a 40 year career in nursing.I decided to check it out and have been spending at least a day there every week since, taking classes in painting, colored pencils, drawing, precious metal clay and working on projects in open studio time. I've met and enjoyed people of all ages and places of life. It's my second home now. Thank you Bickford Education Center for making this place a reality!!!!

I really enjoyed my experience at artascope. I met alot of nice people and some basics of painting I really needed to know.

Hi Pauline, our 6-week Artist Series are $250 for non-members and our One-Day Workshops are $99. You can find more info about our upcoming classes listed at https://artascope.org/events.
Darci- I serve as one of the Monday (10:00 - 1:00pm) Monitors. I am a metal artist and would love to learn more about what you are hoping to do or have done before. If you are available on Mondays, I invite you in for a tour of our facilities and meet some of our studio members. I do raising/sinking bowls as well as creating wall hangings but have not YET gotten into repousee or chasing... I do believe that one of our other members has done so, but he is 'elsewhere ' for the winter. Hope to meet you sometime! -K.C. Putnam
Hi Diane, we have a Basic Drawing Artist Series that starts Tuesday, January 15th and runs from 10am-1pm for 6-weeks. And we have an acrylic painting series called Expressions in Painting that starts Wednesday, January 16th and runs from 6-9pm for 6 weeks. Both series are open to all skill levels. You can see full descriptions of all our upcoming classes and workshops (and register online) by clicking on the Upcoming Classes tab on our website menu at www.artascope.com. Thank you!
Hi Valerie, we do have a Silver Ring Bands One-Day workshop coming up on August 29th that runs from 9am-4pm. We're hoping to schedule a morning 6-week metalsmithing series for the fall. We also have the option of private lessons. Are you looking for Beginner or Intermediate level?
