I was first asked to come by, and so I did, on time, but what came next was one of the strangest interactions I’ve ever had. When I arrived I found my own way, was never guided into a room holding about 100 or so members, but no one said hi, offered me a drink etc. Instead I had to ask around myself to do a study, but when I did I kept being handed off to the next guy, like I was a burden and they didn’t have time for me. Finally about 30 min waiting on my own I was led into a room that had a large panel of glass in the wall (mirror), a folding table and two folding chairs. After I went to this interigation room, i was told that we would study the Bible, but their form of study is different than actual study. Study takes thought, and questions and reading etc, but they wanted to preach to me, tell me that I was wrong in every single bit of my believing (which I’m not denying nor affirming). I told these boys, (and yes there were 3 although we were in a small room with two chairs and I was asked to sit), that this wasn’t love. I never found a drop of love in that building or in any of their followers in my many interactions since then. Just read God’s Word and speak the resurrection... much better
