I have been going to this place since a kid, my father introduced leather work to me,& he's been doing it since his 20's, he has done so much with leather & made amazing things, unfortunately he pasted away this year,, & i inherited his leather tool chest so in his honor I hope to be next in line to try to make some great stuff like he did, & Tandy leather is the only place to go! Great price, great kits, tools, machinery everything to make awesome projects!!

Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. As someone who is new to leatherworking, I didn’t know much about the craft or what I needed when I visited the store. I left feeling confident in my purchase of tools and a nice piece of veg tanned leather. Now I’ve begun making wallets and couldn’t be happier with the service and expertise the Chelmsford store provided.

This Tandy Leather location has always been great. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. It's very well stocked, I've never had to have them order anything that I needed, it's always been in stock. Though books run out sometimes. I highly recommend it.
