Joachim, we would be happy to have you browse our online books. There is someone in our online department most every morning from 10 AM until 11:30 AM. You would be welcome to call the store any morning and talk to Scott to make an appointment to view the collection at a time that is convenient for you, as well. We also have an up-to-date inventory list of the books that we have listed on ABE and Amazon at our front desk in the store. If you are interested in something specific, a staff member can look that up for you and also create a Search card so that we know to keep an eye out for a particular author or title for you! We are always happy to help you find books in any way. Just let us know!

Janice, right now, we have all the books from the series in the store except for Little Town on the Prairie. They are all on our Children's chapter books shelves under Wilder and they are all paperbacks so they will be 50 Cents each. Call the store at 725-8888 if you would like us to hold any of the titles for you.

Thank you for asking! We adhere to the Maine CDC Covid-19 Prevention Guidelines. We have cleaned and disinfected our store from top to bottom, and continue to disinfect surfaces regularly. We have adhered wipeable covers to our electronic devices so that we may disinfect them. Staff are asked not to come into work if there is any question that they not be completely well. Our staff all wear masks and all customers Must wear masks as well. We have hand sanitizer by the door and ask that customers use it as they come in. We are adhering to a 5 customers in the store at a time guideline. New donations are stored in a separate area in the backroom of the store so that they can be quarantined for 4 days. Items are all cleaned before being sorted and then shelved. We want everyone to feel safe when they come to our store. If you are not comfortable with in-store shopping yet, we are still offering Store Searches with Curbside Pick-up. Call the store at 207-725-8888 with your requests.

Right now, we are accepting donations only on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday during our Open hours which are 10 AM to 4 PM and we are limiting donations to one bag or box per customer per day. (We quarantine all donations for several days before cleaning and sorting them onto our shelves so it has created a bit of a storage space issue for us, thus the unfortunate need for limitations.) We do not accept encyclopedias, software, games, or magazines. Otherwise, we take any books, CDs, and DVDs in good condition, as well as puzzles. Thank you so much for thinking of us!
