My fiance and I decided to try this restaurant in this small town Berlin. It had a comfortable, homey feel like a bar usually has, where people there know eachother or they have their regulars. I felt comfortable with the good service we got. I admired their efforts and upbeat positivity. The food was great too 🤤 I also thought it was cool that they improvised when they were short on fries, they made us home made fries which came out great 👌👌👍 Oh! & I love the view from our table.

Disappointed about how the error made by the restaurant was handled. On Monday evening during a bad thunderstorm I ordered a salad for takeout for my wife. I asked for no dressing and the goat cheese on the side. When I got it home it was covered in cheese. I called the restaurant and was told they closed early. They did agree to remake the salad if I could come right down. I drove back immediately and had to wait for the replacement. The staff informed me that the chef said that because I didn't bring the first salad back that I had to pay for the new one even though they made the error. I told them I didn't think a restaurant could take back food already taken out, and nobody said I had to return it on the phone. Was planning on having dinner there soon to support a local business, but after this we have changed our minds. Below the owner responds with misinformation. My second call was at 8:39 PM and the employee told me that you were closed, but would still replace the salad. Nothing about returning the original salad, or having to pay for your error. I also clearly told the employee that took my original order "no dressing and goat cheese on the side". The employee also acknowledged the mistake was the restaurants. If you truly wish that I would give your establishment a second chance you blew it with your response. I hope it was worth the additional $11 to lose any future patronage from me.

Pleasant atmosphere upon entering with great background music and nicely set tables. The waitress was pleasant, although maybe just beginning as she didn't seem to know what was available on the menu. We ordered the mushrooms as an appetizer. Although all 3 of them were tasty, they would have been better cooked a tad longer. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and hubby had shrimp scampi. They were OK but no garlic taste. We never got a salad or even a piece of bread with it.....so that took away from a nice complete meal feel.

We having coming to Gorham Berlin area for years. Excellent change to the dining scene. Bella was excellent. The ribs were very good. Next time we hope to get there before they sell out of brisket!! All 4 meals were delicious and the service was exceptional!!!
