This place is very shady. They charged me $363.08 for a one night stay in their cheapest studio room. Even though online it says those rooms rent for $217. I tried to email them to see what is going on and they said their rates change daily. What kind of garbage is that? We were hoping to make this a yearly trip but it looks like we will have to find a new place to stay. I won't go to a place that changes their prices daily and fluctuates that much. Who can trust that? Edit, to reply to the business response: Your excuses don't make it ok. I will never visit any one of your resorts again and I will spread the word. The customer service is terrible. To the people reading this: I highly recommend that you look at the bad reviews of this place before you book here. Trust me it might save your vacation if you do!

I went there by myself in October and felt I had squandered an awesome opportunity to be here with my wife, so I booked a cottage for our anniversary. Nice little cottage, clean room, much better than a standard hotel experience. Spacious, cute, some kitchen items including a fridge, microwave, an electric kettle for tea or french press coffee (provided.) The cottage is also in a great location. You can walk to the beach or all over town, but they have loaner bikes too. Movie theater is across the street and there's mini-golf, go-karts, and horseback riding all less than a block away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I've been there twice and I'm thinking I'll make it a spring tradition to go back.

While the room was comfortable and Orianna in the office was exceptional, people should know that while they call themselves "self contained" and "cottages", you do share walls with other units. So if you have a family with dogs next to you, as we did, the idea of a quiet romantic getaway is out the window. We did ask if we could switch rooms after the first night, and that's where Orianna shone.

Stayed here with my girlfriend for our anniversary. We’ve never been to Long Beach before but have been wanting to go for a long time after seeing it online. Check in was super easy, and they let us get our room a bit early. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! The property itself is relatively small, but the cottages have everything you need inside. There is also a sauna on the property that is amazing and definitely worth checking out. We stayed in a suite with kitchenette and it was the perfect size for my girlfriend and I plus our husky. (They are very pet friendly here). Each morning at 9am they delivered pastries to our door. The pastries that we got were very good! While there aren’t any ocean views from the cottages themselves, the beach is a very short walk away. Long Beach itself is a wonderful small town with everything you might need. It’s small enough that we didn’t have to drive our car anywhere the entire time we stayed there. All in all, our stay was amazing and we were very happy that we chose to stay here. Before we even checked out we were planning our next trip to the Boardwalk Cottages. If you are on the fence about booking, go for it. You’ll thank yourself later!
