I thought I had stayed in my worse motel ever a couple of nights ago. This was even worse. There was a used cup on the counter and a used towel in the bath. Mold in the shower. Cockroaches in the closet. Bed had zero support. I'm riding my bicycle across the United States and had a rough ride today with the headwind. If I had arrived earlier, I would have paid more to move to the only other motel in Hiawatha. That one is on US-36. The Sunflower in in town. Only plus is that Pizza Hut is right across the street. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Owner came to my room yelling that there was a problem. Kept on insisting I follow. Here for construction our rooms were already paid. But he kept insisting and talking saying out loud that there’s a problem. I was in the middle of a business call and was forced to hang up. Finally go all the way outside exactly how I am without time. He got someone else’s rooms mixed up. Just bad service. You can’t drag someone out the room just blabbering without telling them what’s going on. The sheets are stained and the bathrooms are cracked and don’t even have a filter trap for showers

A little seedy, but management was very nice and accommodating. I was there three days and no problems. Also inexpensive is a plus!

I called in a day before and reserved a room. The next day I checked in around noon with no problems. I stayed in a one bedroom room by myself. The only lock was on the door knob, no dead bolts or other ways of securing the room, which did not feel safe. The sheets had black dots and small holes, and the top blanket had a large black mark on it, but the bedding smelled clean. The pillows were fine and the bed was comfortable, I slept well. The light switch cover was chipped, and many other things were not kept. The room was not very well cleaned, the tub needed scrubbed, and the edges by the wall especially had not been vaccumed in a long time. The bathroom door did not lock and had clearly been broken into, so the door wood was split by the knob but was then painted over. There were outlet strips by the bed, which was convenient but not great looking. There was no phone in the room. The room did have a coffee maker, a nice mini fridge, a microwave, a nice dresser and desk, and the decore was nice. The staff were also nice. It was cheap and I got what I paid for.

I know they do monthly rates but they don't have licensed. A microwave and small fridge television and wifi
They are for an extra fee
