When you’re told “if it isn’t broke don’t try to fix it.” I have used First Tuesday to renew my Real Estate license for a number of years. This last renewal I decided to try a different course. What a mistake! That course was difficult and convoluted. First Tuesday course are simple and to the point. The courses are not expensive and the customer service is top notch. I use to order the hard cover books and they were delivered within a few days. Now I prefer the online course. Once you creat a log in you will receive helpful newsletter of new law about the industry. I also like that there is a library of documents you can use during your practice as an Real estate agent. There are tons of free ebooks in the news letter. If you’re Looking for I course in Real Estate. I recommend using First Tuesday 😃!

I PASSED MY STATE EXAM ON FIRST TRY!!! So I have zero experience with real estate, I mean I’m an apartment manager so I have a little knowledge of lease holds or the legality behind real estate in general. My company encourages their employees to get their license so they sent us a 30% promo code for firsttuesday course materials. I signed up because why not right? The pandemic was in full effect so I had the time. All I did was read the principles and practice texts books front to back and take all the practice quizzes, they make you choose a 3rd category but most exam questions will derive from the two main text books. They want you to complete 3 at home exams with a 60% or better before they allow you to schedule the state exam. Once my exam was scheduled I started reviewing the practice exams offered through firsttuesday, they have five 150 question practice exams which were pretty close to the questions on the test. They also have 12 other practice tests that focus on particular categories which help terms and situations become more understandable and more obvious. Needless to say the course materials they offer work. It’s all about repetitiveness, keep practicing over and over and you’ll do GREAT! Thank you FIRSTTUESDAY, opening my test score to see a passing remark is something I’ll never forget. GLTA 💯

I enrolled my broker CE 45 hour class. The text is not good written for selfstudy. Maybe it is easy for passing the test, but not for understanding. The webpage quality has space to improve. Many amendments you have to check here and there. I sent email to ask questions, no answer. It is more difficult to understand than other 2 online real estate schools I used took. It took a year I still can't finish my study and wasted my time. I asked refund, they told me it is longer than a year, no refund. Now I switch to another online school continue to study, it is better and easier to use than this one.

Immediately upon completion of the of the required education for a broker license you may apply to take the state exam. Processing times for exam applications take upwards of 8 weeks, then you will have a list of dates to choose from to your corresponding local DRE office.

I don't see any exam for broker's license. Is it the same with agent's license exam?

Jenny Hu | Aug 18, 2019

The state exam prep material that we offer for agents can be used for brokers as well given that the state exams for both cover the same content. Passing the broker exam is more challenging because you will have more questions to answer and the passing score is 75% rather than 70% like the salesperson state exam.
