I have a friend that lives here. His one bedroom apartment has a decent size living room and bedroom. Rooms are cooled and warmed by a in-wall electric A/C heat pump beneath the window sill. So i expect electric bills to be on the high side. However, another review I read stated that the heating is included in the rent. If that's the case, that's pretty good. The apartment is more comfortable than I expected. The rooms have large windows and are bright with plenty of sunlight. Too bright in my opinion because it washed out the tv screen. So plan on venetian blinds to control light. The kitchen is a little small but well organized cabinetry with a kitchen bar opened to the living room. So you really don't need a kitchen table, just a couple of kitchen bar stools. Entrances to every room are wide. The bathroom is adequate, not too small. The parking lot is controlled by electronic card access. Actual parking spaces are very tight so car doors are prone to getting door dings. While I was there, it seemed very quiet, especially for downtown Hartford.

Nice place for students and small family to live in. View to capitol building is awesome. Good place to live in with better commute in Hartford as Union Station and bus stop nearby.

Its located in downtown Hartford, opposite to the union station and is close to the business corridor. There is even a shop downstairs to buy essentials. There is hot water available 24/7 and the heat is constantly maintained at a comfortable temparature. There are two washers n two driers in the laundry room in all the even floors and one in the odd floors. The apartment has a gas range. There is even a paid garage parking and an outdoor parking. There is a mail room, a parcel room and a community room. The utilities are included in the rent. The rooms are not very ventilated though. There were too many mice and roaches running around in our kitchen and the windows were leaking when it rained. The kitchen is a bit small for a family. The paid garage parking is expensive. The deluxe rooms were better and more spacious than the standard one bedrooms and studios.

Management has been terrible since Natasha and Paula left. I could barely get the information that I needed about leasing before renewal even after reaching out to the office by phone and email multiple times. Also I mailed in my rent in advance indicating in the mail to cash in the next month. They cashed it in advance when I explicitly told them not to. Previously I have done the same with the office (Natasha & Paula) and they were accommodating. The apartment room I live in is decent. It is noisy as I face the garden street parking lot due to the highway. As a result, I can’t open the windows and it is difficult during the winter when they have heat on high that you cannot control. I have seen 1 or 2 roaches during my time here. And heard from a neighbor they saw a mice. I know they do pest control once in a while, but doubtful in it’s effectiveness. Also I have noticed the smell of marijuana through the bathroom vent and hallways.
