I've never personally visited linn county, but my friend is visiting. I have a question... Do the inmates get notified when someone deposits money on there books for commissary items?? I havent talked to my friend, so he doesnt even know that I did, and he isnt expecting it. So, will they notify him??? i hope so

Linn County Sheriff's Department, let me tell you something.Over half of these guys crooked and dishonest, and they will lie to you while they have you pulled over, telling you any false information that they can to try to get you to slip up. Guess what?. it is in their policies that they are allowed to mislead you a lie to you or do whatever they need to do to get information out of you, that might be probable cause. You hear me!. mislead you and lie to you, it is legal for an officer to do this!.

Spoke with an individual by the name of Tina regarding a Gentleman that had his kids no older than 5 running around naked in the back part of a county park swimming. The father just stood there smiling. I have spoke with the sheriffs office in the past about this. The park offices are closed and they still have closed trail signs up stagnant water near the kids. They never stop them. Also to note the people who participated in assaulting a man almost to death by the community for reporting people in the community that are people with power in the area don't get locked up. But people who do crimes far less do. They stalk and have allowed people to Physically and Psychologically abuse people repeatedly for years. That person should be allowed to live here whether they like it or not. It's corruption at it's finest.
