Wonderful experience. The grounds are beautiful. Attention to detail was noticed. Staff would remember your name which made it a more personable experience. We will definitely be back.

Lauren and I just got married on July 16th, and spent our honey moon through seven states, for the last few days we spent our time at the Tara. The only thing we regret is not staying there longer! Every aspect of the experience was terrific, from service, hospitality, to food. Two lovely ladies come to mind by the names of "Ms Betsy" (hostess) and waitress "Ms. Debbie" filled our hearts with warmth and content. The inn, as well the room is full of beautiful antiques, historian lovers will luster . What also touched our hearts is the welcome tray waiting for us in our room. Tara became the main phrase in our honey moon stories, and certainly future travels! Thank-You for making it such a wonderful experience! -Paul and Lauren Patterson

Wow. It’s been a few years since we have been here. A lot of changes and renovations. I had to inquire about Katie O’Hara’s room as it use to have a bath down a spiral staircase. But I was informed they moved the bath to the same floor. Now, since the renovation, there is a sitting room with an original fireplace that was uncovered behind the wall in the bath. Really Cool.

Tara is perfect place for a couples get away. The rooms are comfortable and homey; with a fireplace and jacuzzi, and the spa is a wonderful addition to any evening plans. However the one thing that must be reviewed with 5 stars would be the staff. I don’t remember ever meeting a nicer, more respectful staff. Any request my wife and I made was met with a smile on their face. They are so friendly that it felt like they were simply people living there. And as a history buff, being immersed in an 1850s style mansion kept me entertained our whole stay. With artifacts from the civil war, to gone with the wind decor; my wife and I were very happy with spending time exploring the mansion to take in the history. We plan on visiting again, and would recommend Tara to anyone considering a stay.

Go for Sunday brunch.
They also do a very dope set course dinner, it has a few options and isnt too pricy.
Dear Ms. Morris.... looking at our current availability for those 2 nights, Georgian Plantation room would be most accessible for you. It's on the first floor, down the hall from the front desk. The rooms are filling up quickly, and our Thanksgiving feast is always a sell-out, so I would suggest making your reservations soon. We are looking forward to your visit!
Don't know,best to call them.
No, there are 2 parking lots, 1 at the building and 1 across the road.
Here is a link to our menus..... Ashley's changes seasonally. http://www.tara-inn.com/Tara-A-Country-Inn-Dining.htm Hope to see you soon!
They have a tour within the inn. The buffet brunch is top notch. There are many different restaurants nearby.
