Shout out to KATHY at the front desk as she went above and beyond! I had cancelled my reservation for a weekend stay only to then be charged for a night. When I called to find out Kathy took the time and had the patience to dig into the issue and discovered the error. It wasn't a simple fix, she had to go look at different systems and compare the cancelled reservation, etc. while she was busy w/the front desk. We all should be so lucky to have someone like Kathy. She went above and beyond. She cared and I truly appreciate her effort!! Thank you Kathy!!

If you are on the highway at the end of the day, are really tired, and have nowhere else to stay, I can recommend this hotel. If you're really tired, you won't be annoyed that the tiny room costs $260 -- right beside the highway, in Nowheresville, PA. If you're really tired, you won't be annoyed that, because you booked it on the web days earlier, paid in full a non-refundable fee and couldn't figure out how to get your AAA discount, the front desk simply can't give you that discount. You won't be annoyed that they think that giving you two coupons for drinks as a consolation prize is fine, even when you discover that the "drinks" are the house wine, or a beer, or soda -- not an actual drink. (You won't even do the calculation that food costs are about 30% of restaurant prices, so $15 in drinks costs them about $5.) You won't be annoyed that you didn't get that $26 discount you should have gotten. There's only Happy Hour on Fridays, for two hours, so step lively. If you're tired enough, you won't be annoyed that, even though you were seated before the 7 pm deadline, the restaurant's computer system won't let the kindly waitress give you the Happy Hour discount on the appetizers and that real drink you crave after a long day on the road. You probably won't have the energy to get up and go elsewhere for dinner and drinks. (We did, so I can't speak to the quality or lack thereof of the food and beverages.) You won't be annoyed that, even for that $260 before taxes, breakfast (the cheapest meal of the day) isn't included in your room rate. You won't wonder why any architect worthy of a license could design a hotel with every room looking out over a central atrium, without any windows to the outside. You won't be annoyed that the bathroom door, designed with a "barn door" sort of system, doesn't actually cover the whole opening to the bathroom, thereby robbing you and your fellow traveler of any semblance of bathroom privacy. You won't notice that the soap bars are about the size of sugar cubes and you'll need a magnifying glass to find them in the shower once you've taken off your glasses. If you're tired enough, you'll be able to sleep through the constant noise from the wall-mounted a/c unit and the constant noise echoing up from the atrium. You might be able to sleep despite the light from the atrium, which isn't blocked by the curtains on the window. You might not mind that you have no sense of night or day due to that atrium and that artificial light. I hope you'll be alert enough to appreciate that the room is spotlessly clean, the bed and linens are good (thanks to corporate), and to leave your housekeeper at least $10, even as you leave with relief and a vow to never go to a Holiday Inn ever again.

We stayed at this location for 2 days and we loved it! My kids had so much fun in the pool and arcade. They slept comfortably in the soft cozy beds. They enjoyed the food! We really had a great stay. It was clean and quiet and very accommodating. The Gm Corey Pregmon was so helpful! I would definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel is a hidden gem. This is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at and the rooms are unique to the property being it was converted from an exterior “motel” into a full service hotel, such a unique layout. The housekeeping team deserves much praise as I’ve never notice a clean hotel especially the rooms as well as the bathrooms in the general public area. The food from the on-site bar & restaurant is amazing. Hospitality is certainly taught well here as all the staff were so personable & made this a family friendly stay as they aren’t your typical hotel staff as this staff not one will joke around with you making it feel like you are family but they go way above & beyond, I can’t tell you how personable the staff were that I encountered on my stay. I highly recommend this staff & hotel

There was a bar, really nice and everything was brand new (great bartender)... But we were there on a slow night, they just opened back up after a fire and then a remodel. Everything was VERY nice and new, so I'm sure by now they're all set up with weekend entertainment!🙂
