Well, I will start with… I have never had a “macaroon” before- today was a special day, I got Two and there are No words that describe this experience of pure goodness. Thank you Amy’s Cookies…. While on a mission I got two of Lydia’s lemon tarts and served at a special girlfriend reunion…. Delicious. But can’t go home without something for Hubby so got him a mini apple pie…. Let’s just say the world is a better place! Thank you Lydia and all the smiles and kindness that comes with opening your door💗

Stellar baking, kind service. I stopped in to try for first time today. Lydia was welcoming, friendly, and kind. I had a couple delicacies: - M&M cookie + ice cream slider: rockin, 5/5. Cookies were chewy and delicious. Home made vanilla ce cream was rich in savoury vanilla with a well balanced sweetness. - pecan roll - 5/5. Similar to a cinnamon roll re: pastry dough wrapped with cinnamon, and then tipped with praline-esque pecans. Darn tasty. Thanks for the incredible treats!

Lydia was recommended to us by our venue coordinator at Royal Arch Park. We had so many guests with dietary restrictions, including me (the bride) so we definitely wanted a vegan cake that didn't taste vegan :) The cake was the perfect size, design, the florals were beautiful and fresh, and the cake tasted so delicious. Lydia was professional to work with, responded very quickly and is an amazing local shop for cakes and confections. We stopped by her shop months before to try out some cupcakes and OMG! We were graciously welcomed as we entered for the first time. The ladies there were friendly and informative and knew the right words: peanut butter, Key lime, vanilla butter cream. Yes we'll have one of each, please! The Key lime tart was delicious - thick crunchy shortbread crust and perfectly tart Key lime without too much sweetness. The oatmeal cookie sandwich was crispy with a soft dense filling. All their goods were perfectly sweetened so that we could taste the flavors and not just sugar. Delicious, not decadent. We'll be back!
