First time at this or any of their locations. Nothing special or to write home about. Went on a Sunday evening and this place was less than half full but it took a good five minutes to have a waitress stop by and easily another 6-7 to get our first drinks. Bread is no longer free so we ordered some sourdough rolls. We both ordered a plate of mussels and they were excellent but they no longer have pesto for them. For entree I got the rainbow trout, au gratin potatoes and Cole slaw. I was not able to swap one of two sides for a side salad which seems kind of silly. The trout was really pretty small, like half a fish. It's been years since I've had rainbow trout but I remember getting the whole fish, head and tail, and far more meat than this one. It was pretty good but not much in the way of seasoning or flavor. My companion got the calamari, her go-to dish anywhere it's served, but she thought for sure it wasn't fresh and tasted processed. All in all, for rolls, two plates of mussels, calamari, trout, a glass of Chardonnay and fruit punch, it came to over $102 which seemed pretty pricey for nothing spectacular in flavor (except the mussels) and marginal service. Not much of an extensive menu either so don't see myself going back.

Great food for the price and the server was very kind enough to give me another drink because it was close to the closing time for free. My fiancé and I ordered Swordfish play with fries and thier potatoes and I had the Californian king salmon with green beans and fishwife rice. Very nice atmosphere and we will come here again!

escaped the fair and had lunch here. The food was fresh well prepared. The service was excellent, my ice tea never even got half full. All the staff was friendly and welcoming. The calamari steak and halibut sandwich we’re both very good. It’s about $20 a plate. The restaurant was large and had nice booths.

I’ve been coming to these restaurants for years. The one in Phoenix is wonderful. This one is just as good. The service is always great, and the atmosphere is equally pleasing.

Yes, they have a menu with gluten free choices.
Go into their website and they have a reservation area that you can see times available and book your reservation online. If you are unable to do this, call them directly
Reservations are not required, but I'd recommend calling ahead if you have a large party or are planning to go at a busy time. All major credit cards are accepted.
Not sure if it is locally provided. However, what we had was fresh. I lived in S.E. coastal Florida for many years. Like to think that I know good seafood & Fish Market was better than most. Another good spot is Pelly's Fish Market & Cafe in Carlsbad.
Hi - HH is on hold until be get our staffing issues addressed. No one wants to work in restaurants anymore 😞
Gary - We no longer do food preparation in the raw bar area. You can sit there and be waited on by the bartenders. You can order anything on the menu including grilled fish. Kirk
Our outside patio is dog friendly and is open at lunch only. Please call the store 858 755 2277 to confirm the patio is open (some days staffing shortages cause the patio to be closed) Currently we are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
No Mahi on the right now. Don't have an ETA as covid has messed with everything including fish availability. Kirk B
Spencer is correct. Our employees are masked and temp checked daily. We plan to open outside dining in 2 weeks.
Art - Due to COVID social distancing requirements the oyster bar is shut down. Unknown when and if it will reopen.

Not at this time. We have found our meals do not travel well so we have been hesitant on using a delivery service. Kirk

Our San Diego Restaurant has views of the harbor. The Del Mar restaurant is a mile from the water. The information you are reading is from Zagat for which we have no control over.
Selvyn at present we do not deliver or deal with restaurant delivery companies.
Hi Roberta we have on the menu an "East Coast Clam Bake" which is very similar to a boil but without the sausage
I did not see valet but parking is just in front of entrance and behind...there is like a short path towards the main door very easy..it's open.
No
I would just to be safe. It depends in events taking place at fairgrounds across the street.
