Lots of parking within the gates, portable restrooms, some rehab birds and a woodland trail. No dogs allowed (there is a resident heard of deer.) No playground equipment or sport games allowed.

What a nice place to see live turtles and frogs. Also they have injured birds to see. They have lots of info about the local area. Also it is located in a park that has a gravel trail for a walk in the woods. There is an asphalt circular path to walk and a picnic area. It is a nice place to spend an afternoon. I have gone back several times and found new discoveries each time. Keep your eyes open. ENJOY.

Free. Beautiful. Super safe. Plenty of parking. No dogs! No skateboarding/biking? I’m assuming-I didn’t see any signs except a “no bikes beyond this point” at the trail entry… No feeling the wildlife… we threw rocks into the lake to see ripples, but it seemed like the geese had been fedbe cause they swam straight up to my kid, and looked at her and waited… It’s a hidden gem that locals know of. Animals in enclosures and deer walking around, the pond and trails are just the right size for a family with little kids or anyone recovering from surgery, like my mom who discovered this place after knee replacement surgery. picnic tables, seats, wooden deck area, the trail or if you prefer, the main circular roadway that speed walkers will prefer… it’s got just the right amount of incline. Bathrooms are available inside when the building is open… otherwise, port-a-potties are available (may be a post COVID thing)

No. there are many signs saying no dogs and no pets. This is a wildlife sanctuary and no pets of any kind are permitted
There are some animals out. We went on a hot day and none of the animals were moving at all. But on the "hike" we saw a deer fawn nursing on its mama maybe 20 yards away frome us!
Fledglings are never abandoned but if you are aware of something happening to the parents to prevent care in these final stages you can call the Avian Rehab Center at 973-702-1957. The Environmental Center does not take them.
Yes they will
No. You park and walk near a pond and some caged animals being mended. So animals vary. Small bldg with some fish and turtles. Usually some rabbits or similar with babies. Great place for small children. Very calming atmosphere.
They do trips just give them a call to set it up
