Twice I've left my cell phone on public transit, one on a bus and one on the MAX and both times I was able to pick it up the following day with minimal hassle. There's even a bus that stops directly in front of the building. That's being said, make sure to be prompt when checking the lost & found as they only hold onto your property for a very limited time, up to 1 week if I'm remembering correctly.

Got my phone back that I had accidentally left on the bus and thought it was gone for good! But a trusting person who was kind enough to turn it in to the lost and found! Thanks to all parties involved!✌️😎

Tri Met is a mess these days. I imagine it will only get worse however the folks at lost and found are great, I've left my wallet my phone my tablet even my all carbonfiber track bike on the bus or max and because I have my name and phone number written on all those items they were returned to me quite promptly, Thanks for this much appreciated service tri met. Now if you would kindly put the 33 line back to running from CCC to downtown Portland I'd have no complaints :-)

TriMet Lost and Found is the best. They emailed me about my lost Hop card before I even realized it was lost. It's a little bit of heaven on earth. ♡Love the extended hours♡ The clerk's kind demeanor was like a warm coat on a rainy day. I think the TriMet Lost & Found would be a great place for a first or second date. You could mingle with a lot of losers (literally), and they would be happy.

30-45 days to pick it up after notified and then donated.
You can call customer service 238-ride and they can call bus and have driver check
Yes. Lost and found has an attendant available to help recover your items during business hours, which are currently 7am - 7 pm, Monday through Friday. As you enter the building the counter for lost and found is ahead and slightly to the right, tucked in a cubby area next to the elevators.
NEVER hurts to call & ask !
and before you call them you could actually fill out one online it's actually quicker I did both did mine online and then I called them but the driver I was with knew me and I was the last one on the bus so when I walked in it was there and I'm sure hers is as well - dollars Maybe missing...
The front desk at Trimet lost and found will just tell you to go on their website and report it missing. To describe it in the email.. I lost my apartment keys with my bus card and that's how I was able to get it back the next day
Same day, at the end of the bus run. Stop by the office to tell them the description of your wallet or you can even call before hand to see it they have it.
Call or go by trimet lost and found and if it gets turned in you can get it. Only 2 weeks though. So get on it.
Just make a call they can have the driver check via radio dispatch
I believe the person has to be present. Call and talk to them and ask if you can have someone pick up your items.
