This is where I go for counseling for service-connected PTSD. I've had counseling sessions through many different programs, but this is the first one that's really worked for me. My counselor is a combat veteran too, so he actually understands what I've been through. I'm making real progress here and they even offer group sessions so I can connect with other veterans who've had similar experiences. For the first time, I don't feel like I'm alone anymore. I feel like someone finally understands where I'm coming from.

We do PTSD Counseling, readjustment counseling, and military sexual trauma counseling. I would talk to one of the enrollment folks at the VA Outpatient Clinic on Mcgilchrist street here in Salem.
Yes the DAV provides a shuttle up I-5 with stops in Salem and Keizer up to the Portland VA Medical Center.
